Overview
The XF is a midsize luxury sedan and the English automaker's last remaining car. With plans underway to become an all-electric brand, Jaguar will likely discontinue the XF in the coming years. In the meantime, the aging XF continues to receive minor updates in order to keep it competitive. For 2023, the SE and top R-Dynamic SE trims now come with Amazon Alexa, a voice command system that can be used for making phone calls, playing music, navigation guidance and more. Adaptive cruise control, which makes highway driving easier, is now standard on all trims. The starting price of the XF is attractive when compared to expensive European rivals like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series, but not as low as the Lexus ES 350 or Cadillac CT5. If you can live without quick acceleration, engaging handling dynamics and the latest in tech but you enjoy an elegant and comfortable sedan with a high-quality interior, the XF could be a viable option.
